In the province of Alberta, Psychologists have a wide range of educational training and clinical training experiences. The highest level of training is a doctoral (Ph.D.) in Counselling/Clinical Psychology, plus a 1600 hour clinical internship that is accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association.
