In-Person Appointments
Your safety and wellbeing and that of our communities is my top priority.
Before you book an in-person appointment please read carefully.
Safety Precautions
Although provincial health restrictions have eased, the risk of COVID-19 transmission remains. Due to personal circumstances, I will be continuing to take precautions to prevent infection. I will be implementing the following additional strategies within my practice to provide safe care to clients and reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19.
Reducing the Risk of Transmission
Telehealth is available to all clients (you are welcome to have a combination of in person/virtual care if circumstances change)
Appointment schedules are staggered to allow for additional cleaning between appointments
Hand sanitizer as well as disposable masks will be available should you wish to use them
An air purification system is used in my office
Frequently handled items such as magazines, books, drinking glasses, will be limited
Cashless and no contact payment is supported in my scheduling system
Please Reschedule If You Are Unwell/Switch to Virtual
If you are experiencing illness or have a cough, fever, respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms, I ask that you either cancel your in person appointment or that you switch your appointment to virtual care. At any time if I am unwell or have symptoms of illness, I will only offer virtual psychological care until such time as the condition is no longer relevant.
My current 24-hour cancellation policy will be waived under these conditions if you need to reschedule your session. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I look forward to continuing to provide you with the highest level of psychological service in a safe manner.
Residential Office Location
Please be aware that my private practice is separately located within a residential home in the Rhatigan Ridge neighbourhood of South West Edmonton. A limited number of sessions each weekday are available for in person follow up appointments in accordance with the City of Edmonton bylaws for home based businesses. One parking spot is available for clients during their scheduled visits. If you have in-person appointments, detailed instructions as well as the address will be sent to you via email or text message. Due to my office space/structure limitations, it does require that clients are able to navigate stairs easily. If you have mobility concerns please reach out to me directly so we can discuss how we might work together in-person.
